Bibingkinitan

Bibingkinitan is located at the ground floor of SM Megamall building B, its my first time to try their bibingka and here is what i have to say....

The place where they are located is cute, they are below the escalator of the mall and the have this little cubicle for their customer to enjoy their bibinka (i think 15 people can fit on the place).
Their stall is very eye catching and the graphics are really inviting plus the crew are very friendly.

On their menu you can choose to either purchase a single bibingka for 20 pesos or a coffee for 35 pesos, they also have this combo meal for 50 pesos and that include one bibingka and on coffee (you'll sae 5 pesos if you go for their combo rather than purchasing it individually). If one bibingka is not enough for you, you can buy their 6 pieces bibingka for 120 pesos only.

Is it delicious?... well its good but i was kinda hoping that they put red egg on top of their bibingka but they dont have that, also there is no "niyog" included, i enjoyed eating bibingka if there is a "niyog" included. The bibingka is also too small for me, i know that they said "mini" on their tag line but i hope they increase the size of it or if they cant do that they can make a big one and sell if for 30 pesos so we have better option ^_^...

The coffee is really nice (since im a heavy coffee drinker), freshly brewed and it comes with a small sachet of creamer and sugar, in my case one sugar is not enough so i ask ate for another one...

Over all i give Bibingkinitan 4 out 5. The place and location is nice, the service is good and the bibingka is delicious.

Anawangin paradise in Zambales

I am blessed that my work sometimes allow me to travel and recently we went to Zambales to visit the beautiful beach of Anawangin. It was my third time to visit Zambales and this time its a completely different adventure, instead of hiring a van to get us there, our team decided to commute and ride a bus for a different experience.

How to get there,

We went to Victory liner Station in Pasay at around 10pm and the bus was scheduled to leave for Iba Zambales at 11:30pm. The fare to get there at that time is 272 pesos, then we asked the driver to drop us off at San Antonio Zambales . From there, we will just ride a tricycle to Pundaquit, the fair for the tricycle at that time is 40 pesos per person. From Pundaquit, there are a lot of cheap resorts that offer lower rates of cottages. We got one for 600 pesos for a day. t In order to get to Anawangin, you need to rent a boat, basically they charge 200 per person and that is a round fare trip to get you to the island and back to Pundaquit.

Our team decided to stay overnight at Anawangin for a different adventure, once you get to the place there are a lot of friendly people who can assist you if you want to stay overnight, by the way there's an entrance fee of 100 pesos and that is for the whole day, so of course, if your planning to stay there overnight you'll have to have your own tent but if you don't have one, don't worry because you can rent one for 250 pesos, in our case, my friend mitch have a spare tent and they are gracious enough to lend the other tent (thank you mitch and pong ^__^)

There are a lot of changes now in Anawangin from the last time i went there way back 2009

(Anawangin 2009 at the time there's not much cottages that you can use it was just a plane island for you to explore.)

And here is the new and improved Anawangin now..

so from the top view you'll see that now they built small cottages and fences, on the creek part of Anawangin, they are building a small bridge to help visitor to get to the other side so maybe at this time its already finish.

Here are more pictures to feast your eyes (thank you Nonoy for allowing me to use some of the wonderful picture that you have taken)

Staying overnight at the beach is really a different adventure. It is very relaxing, away from work, no traffic no stress just fun and adventure with your friends. Also Anawangin beach is a perfect place if you are into landscape photography there is a lot of spots that you can use as a subject.

So after all that fun time to go home and leave the paradise and sad to say back to reality again...

So how to get back to manila..

So from Pundaquit you need to ride a tricycle again to San Antonio (same fare) and from San Antonio you have to wait for a bus, since it will take us forever to wait for a bus going straight to Victory liner Cubao what we did is we is ride a bus to going to Victory liner Olongapo, they have a buss that will stop over to Victory liner cubao then hed straight to Pasay station, the fare is 172 pesos.

I have learn from this trip that it is much cheaper if you will commute rather that hiring a van to get you to Zambales, well of course if you will be going on a group and you think you can save more if you rent a van then you can do that, commuting is just an alternative.

I hope this article can help you in some way, if you have any question or suggestion feel free to comment below!

Canon Power Shot A495

Nonoy and i are looking for a digital camera that fits on our budget and at the same time can produce good quality pictures and after all the search we finally found our perfect digital camera for us, That is the Canon Power Shot A495.

Originally we are planning to purchase the digicam on an online website but since we had the chance to go to SM Marikina we grab the opportunity to look for the cam and hopefully purchase it on a more lower price. So basically the price on the site and the price on the mall is just the same so for 3500 pesos we manage to purchase the camera, we also purchase a 4gig card for 500 pesos, the store also give us some freebies like red camera bag, a re chargeable battery and a free alkaline battery so not bad!

Here are the following cool features of the camera

» 10.0 MP
» 3.3x optical zoom
» 6.2cm (2.5") LCD *
» Smart Auto mode
» Simple design in 3 colours*
» Low Light, Super Vivid & Poster Effect
» Face Detection, FaceSelf-Timer & Auto Red-Eye Correction
» DIGIC III
» Motion Detection Technology
» Long Play Movies with sound

And here are the pictures taken from the camera

So what is my verdict?

The good part...

The camera is very easy to use and to operate so basically you can figure it out on your own, the price is really affordable and you can make sure about the quality because it was made by Canon. The other thing that i like about this camera is that it has a self timer and it can record video with good quality sound, also its has an auto focus feature that allows you to capture your moments in good quality!. For 3500 pesos i can say that this is a good find!

The sad part...

Since his camera uses alkaline battery chances are your going to spend more money in buying batteries but since the store gave us a free re chargeable battery with charger its not that bad after all.

Watsons Moisturizing Lip Balm

I am now using Watsons Moisturizing lip balm in yummy blue berry and i must say that this product is good and not only that the price is very affordable!. I Have been using this product for 2 months now and here is what i have to say...

The good part...
The packaging is really nice and stylish, it comes in a small jar and that makes it very cute and you can put it anywhere, the smell is really good and it taste sweet (well that's according to my boyfriend ^__^).
The price is really cheap compare to other lip balm i got it for 40 pesos that time so that is half the price when you buy chapstick or nivea.

The bad side
Well since its in a jar you have to use your finger to dab on it so its kinda messy, what i do is that i scrape some small part of it to get the amount that i need, the moisturizing effect does not last long as well compare to nivea and chapstick.

so over all i give this product 3 out of 5
when it comes to the price i give it 5 out of 5!
